Having suffered from COVID-19, students had to adapt to rely more on online classes and platforms. SEA donated decent-condition digital devices to vulnerable schools and students to provide access to online platforms. Moreover, skills not only devices but also skills are needed. SEA had partnered with EEF to create an e-commerce training program allowing students to run their Shopee shop, which generated more than one million THB.

Furthermore, to make sustainable help for society, SEA creates SEA Academy, a free online learning platform consisting of Garena Academy, Shopee University, and SeaMoney Academy. The platform provides free opportunities for those interested in online gaming businesses, e-commerce, and financial literacy.

SEA also partnered with organizations to create scalable and sustainable changes. As mentioned earlier, SEA had successfully co-created e-commerce training with EEF. On the other hand, SEA worked with the Ministry of Education on the “Gamer to Coder” program, providing training for game coders and setting up competitions for them.

In the end, Ms. Maneerut insisted that digital skills and mindsets are crucial to ongoing education improvements. Secondly, the education system must be reimagined to support online and lifelong learning. Lastly, Ms. Maneerut encouraged more collaborations on education.
