Mr. Samatcha Promsiri introduced that Sansiri had been in the property development business for almost 40 years. He also said that Sansiri had its CSR program addressing children’s rights and welfare and family of migrant laborers in Thailand.

Sansiri is also running a Zero-Drop-Out Campaign called the Ratchaburi Model, which focuses mainly on children dropping out of school.

Ratchaburi Model campaign is mainly a win-win bond issued by Sansiri. EEF and its partners manage the money. The main focus is to bring children back to school and/or keep them in the education system. Investors get interested every 3 months and a total return in 3 years. They also receive social impact reports to be fully aware of how their investments affect the social and children’s lives.

Working with EEF during the pandemic reminded Sansiri that it had to look closely at all education stakeholders. Lastly, balancing each party’s needs and incentives is required to make the whole collaboration progress. Mr. Samatcha also added that the panel with real discussion is handy for real changes and improvement.
