The Equitable Education Research Institute (EEFI) under the Equitable Education Fund (EEF) Thailand and Creativity, Culture and Education (CCE) have come together to share the mission of helping teachers and learners reach their highest potential. To accomplish this, they have developed a variety of programs to assist in the development of teachers’ teaching aptitude and the advancement of students’ learning quality. Examples of the programs they have put in place include the Supporting Teacher Development to Enhance Teaching and Learning Project and Technical Support for Research on Pupil Outcomes Project.
Objective
Support teachers’ development and
enhance learners’ learning quality
Sample Program
1
Supporting Teacher Development
to Enhance Teaching and
Learning Project
Provides HomeGrown Teacher Program student teachers with the skills, knowledge, understanding, and techniques necessary to deliver effective and engaging in-depth learning experiences in remote schools. In partnership with academic agencies and lecturers of the Faculties of Education, CCE designs and delivers a workshop focused on teaching and learning management abilities, Dialogic Teaching, and Mother tongue-based Multilingual Education (MTBMLE).
This is done to provide the opportunity for the teachers to build their capacity for self-development in the aforementioned areas and thereby ensure all students make progress in their Thai language learning.
The project focuses on the following
